Our goal in opening August Wines was simple: build the wine shop we want to see in West Ashley. Specializing in smaller-production, lower-intervention wines from around the world, August Wines is a place to browse slowly, ask questions, and leave with something you are genuinely excited to open. You won't find what's on our shelves at big-box retailers, and that is intentional. We carry wines that are honest about where they are from and how they are made - and of course, taste great! Whether you are a wine lover or simply wine-curious, we'd love to help you find a bottle (or a few!) that you love.
